The Weather Forecast

“What’s the big deal anyway? Why are you so caught up in these narrow, minute intricacies of semantics? Nibbus or Nibbus is one and the same thing-we’re gonna have rain either way!” The agitated student blurted out, obviously aggrieved by the perceived lack of consideration by his seemingly nagging instructor. Alone With The Man Eaters

There are reasons why people are in places, whether they know it or not; and regardless of the circumstances. Nothing just happens; for behind the scenes are forces that orchestrate what’s visible. The quest for greatness is endless, yet in the intricacies of the shades therein, there’s such a place as the ultimate source, the road to which persists as a confounding enigma through the ages. This evoked wild laughter from the group of boys gathered outside the dining hall, admiring the athletes. The school bus was slowly driving toward the parking lot as the athletes clad in their colorful sports gear hurried from their early lunch in readiness for departure. Antennas

That was then! And to date the squeak remains my favorite animal sound! This became both my ultimate dream and favorite song: To live forever young! Life was so easy, its fulfilling joys boundless. The color of day break inspired infinity, the sunset and moonrise a classical of inexpressible awe and beauty. We played hide and seek with the squirrels in the lush foliage of the breezy trees as we watched our kites wave among the eagles with such gaiety, promise and abandon in the magnificence of the evening sky, high above the glorious sunsets of the hilly horizon. We excitedly looked forward to the fascinating bedtime accounts of the legends. Continue reading “Antennas”
