SOUND OF THE WIND

“…It blows as it pleases, you hear its sound but cannot tell where it comes from or where it’s going…like the Sound of the Wind.”

The Patriot hurriedly rose to his feet and rubbed his eyes vigorously like one in a daze. DAILY!

No color of words could attempt to describe the mood of the ecstatic multitude of spectators as the fired up athletes came round the last curve on the home stretch, in a showdown too close to call. The multi-national flags waved excitedly across the well-lit evening sky as the seconds rapidly ticked away. Animated fans jumped and shouted with pomp, their seats behind them as the commentators threatened to burst the membranes of their microphones. Camera shutters were on a sustained trigger happy mode all across the magnificent sports complex, the fourth estate on a hey day as the sportsmen blazed for the finish line in a spectacular fashion. Awe inspiring tenacity underlined every fiber of their muscle, in a mind-boggling display of time redemption, their eyes transfixed on the score board in an event followed live across the seven continents. We quickly gathered around a visibly distraught Joe as he narrated his sensational ordeal.

“What an embarrassment. What ~~wastage~~ squander! My moment. The glory that never was. I have no idea what happened right there. Everything backfired at the very last moment. It was only yesterday when i did my first post, skeptical whether i had the energy to stay afloat.One friend after another came along-graciously so.Then i sensed there was a chance i would survive.I have learned a lot through all of you wonderful people!It’s the smiles,the likes and showers of kind sentiments in their various forms that have been my Inspiration.And it gets better. “I CAN SEE!”

Next , I have to share one random thing about myself. Light!! It’s all in the distinction that lies between looking and seeing…better still perceiving. It truly stands out for me as a major spectacle of our times.Back at the drawing board,it’s always offered such great fascination just how so much could have turned out differently if only I had been able to see and perceive at the point of looking.

In the same breath arises the aspect of form-Indeed the various forms of light.I figure this alludes to a constant reality of each form depicting a picture.Some pictures are genuine,others false but all are pictures-right?And pictures give direction.They inspire vision.The vulnerability of walking in deception, worse still finding myself in the wrong destination sends shivers all over me! Finally, I reckon not all light is visible with the naked eye.This ushers in the possibility of the ability to see the invisible!I guess this forms a coveted combination of sight and vision…it’s got to be genuine though! My daily strive is in pursuit of the perfect light,my ultimate dream proclamation: “I can see!”
