THE SONS OF BALAAM

Continued from last week’s Land Mine of the Great Trek…

It’s been said unlike poles attract. As the luminary flew his jet over the plain there was no doubt in his mind he represented an extreme contrast to the kindred underneath. The thought their identity would ultimately take dominion over the earth gave him a strongly repulsive churn in his stomach laced with monumental proportions of anger. As he casually glanced over the detonator, he knew he had turned into a different person. He knew he was doing the wrong thing. But then it’s whom he had become! How could he be so wrong yet feel so right? For he found himself knowing one thing yet by contrast doing a different one all together, this with a guarded eerie sense of ease. LAND MINE OF THE GREAT TREK

“I will be a dear friend to your allies and your antagonists’ worst nightmare…”

Sometimes, the less one knows the safer it is for them. I guess this was the one message ringing loud and clear in the luminary’s mind at the end of the most eventful episode. And what a dramatic encounter this had been! It is one thing knowing what is right… a different matter all together, one of absolute contrast, making an intentional choice to do it…harder still, doing it. It comes as no information at all the hostile tag of war in progress between these two worlds: Knowing and Doing! Even with the writing clearly on the wall. The battle terminally rages on, even now as we speak. Continue reading “LAND MINE OF THE GREAT TREK”

WHEN TWO WORLDS COLLIDE

Every espionage operative knows one of their most dreaded moments: The day their cover is blown off! Nothing matches the feel of this one! It’s not always easy to predict the how and when of this often inevitable spine chilling instant. It’s the complex web of multiple players and roles, compounded by an array of intrigues…one thing leading to another in a swift spiraling progression that heightens the tension, fuelling the one breathtaking enigma: The element of surprise! At the grand finale. In the face of an empty sausage shelf at the City store! Continue reading “WHEN TWO WORLDS COLLIDE”

“I CAN SEE!”

Illuminating Blogger Award

It gives me much pleasure to accept the Illuminating Blogger Award Nomination courtesy of Organized Living Essentials. Her sense of detail will clearly leave you inspired. http://www.organizedlivingessentials.com/.I’m grateful to her for this honor.

In keeping with the rules ,the nominee should visit the award site (http://foodstoriesblog.com/illuminating-blogger-award/) and leave a comment indicating they have been nominated and by whom. (This step is so important because it’s the only way that we can create a blogroll of award winners).

Next , I have to share one random thing about myself. Light!! It’s all in the distinction that lies between looking and seeing…better still perceiving. It truly stands out for me as a major spectacle of our times.Back at the drawing board,it’s always offered such great fascination just how so much could have turned out differently if only I had been able to see and perceive at the point of looking.

In the same breath arises the aspect of form-Indeed the various forms of light.I figure this alludes to a constant reality of each form depicting a picture. Some pictures are genuine, others false but all are pictures-right?And pictures give direction. They inspire vision. The vulnerability of walking in deception, worse still finding myself in the wrong destination sends shivers all over me! Finally, I reckon not all light is visible with the naked eye. This ushers in the possibility of the ability to see the invisible!I guess this forms a coveted combination of sight and vision…it’s got to be genuine though! My daily strive is in pursuit of the perfect light,my ultimate dream proclamation: “I can see!”

And now here are links to five blogs I follow. It’s been a joy interacting with these. Each one unique in their own respect.I recommend a reflective stop over while acknowledging the great posts by many others in our great community.I look forward to even more wonderful times in days ahead.
