Calming storms
Stilling turmoil
With certainty unmatched
Mountain and valley lie low
In uniform flatten
Birds singing for joy
Knowingly
With a touch
Of
The telescope

THOSE TWENTY FOUR!
Glorious spectacle
Live divine magnificence
It dazzles
Stunning brilliance displaying
Destiny convergence
Eternal nerve Centre
Eye deeply sighs
Desperate plea to manage a clear glance
Omnipotent
Like a high voltage domain
Surrounded
By the twenty
Plus four

MARTIAN OF THE THIRTY-NINTH HOUR!
Reminiscent the sensational tales
Santa calling
How incredible
I had no idea what was coming
Just before the count of forty
Omnipotent
Walking among us
Living with us

MAGICAL ELEVEN
They light up the field in amazing display
Ecstatic crowd beside self in elation
Ultimate mark of discipline arrayed in package
Wonder
And nostalgia grips all watching
Spectator
That subtle sense of self
Potential
Across terrace
Reflected on the kinetic score
Minus one
In the field

LIVE FROM THE BLACK BOX UNIVERSAL
Unbent
On impact
Not eclipsed
By innovation
Or swallowed up
By the tide of times
Water tight
Air tight
In the face of intrusion
Unscathed by radiation rays that alter
Hostile waves that deform
Echoes
Of the black box
