Train of glory

Tells me it’s grandiose
On schedule
Rolling down the years
Generation and civilization
Systematic
It paints images vivid
Distinguished invited guests making way
Procession
Rare jewels adorning
Reservation secured
Along gold walkways
Dazzling in excellence
Amid rumble
Of the membrane

Wallowing in the murk of pain and perplexity, she struggles to stay afloat
In traumatic sea of despair
Humongous waves overwhelming in mighty toss and pounce
