Vicious

Abated breath on impact
On the day Pinnacle of Bethlehem
Militarily
Set out in motion

Reminiscent
State of emergency
Like one desperately hitting the air
Target elusive
Behind blindfold secure
Lurch after another
Sustained motion successive
Race against time
Knees wobbling despair
Pinnacle to effect
It’s never uneventful
When two worlds collide
~
Light and darkness
Divine up against might
Eyeball to eyeball
Battle
For supremacy
Within backdrop
of pinnacle declaration
Pinnacle of Bethlehem
Pursuit hot on the trail
Light to vanquish
Bid far-reaching scrutiny
Parameter reach
Land
Sea
And aerial
Nothing is left for chance
Effort to nail eluding target

Sorry i lost you Karl. There is a military term “Pinnacle” apparently deployed when all hell has broken loose. Something to that tune took effect in the aftermath of Christ’s birth. Enjoyed reading your story. Best wishes for the season.
