NIGHT OF WONDER

16/12/2013 — 2 Comments

Without a hint

Or warning

It descended upon us

A scene from dream world

Loaded with event

Wonderland manifest

Where wishes reign supreme

With horses in their hosts

We were caught-in

Mystified

 Spell bound

Drenched in divine grip

Loving embrace

Endearing

Choir

~

Opportunity for a toilette denied

Our defenses caught napping

Utterly

What a moment

Visitation

Just for us

As we were

How could it be

Mouths agape gave illustration exclusive

Mural statute

Stranger than fiction

Within serene of the night

Under the clear evening sky

Glorious

Was this a mistake

Joke of the civilization perhaps

We pinched hard just to be sure

Sure it was truly happening

And it was

We had company

Eclipsed

Within night of wonder

~

What a guest list

And venue

Choice

 For the grande news break

Thrill beyond definition saturated the air

Pregnant content

Universal

Chords of love and joy filled tranquil atmosphere

Our hearts throbbed in resonance

Immortal pulse

Like rain torrents nourishing ground

We were a peasant lot downright smitten

Breathlessly captivated

Drunk with love irresistible

Showered on us

Relentlessly

As the chords came hitting on target

Yodel

And instrument alike

Resounding to horizons a far

Sunrise of a kind

Reminiscent

Happily ever after

Had dawned upon the earth

Henceforth

~
